The novel deals with living in the imagination and with the painful awakening which is a crucial part of growing up. The other option is not to live. Reading this novel is like participating in a boxing match in which the hero and the reader are trying to escape the claws of the past and find a meaning in everyday life. Truthfully, it’s not easy to box while trying to live. Probably Baram’s best novel”
